The Biggest Climbing Event in Serbia
Details:
- Climbing Routes: 280 routes (40 new, over 60 projects 8a and above for First Ascents)
- Festival Organizer: Municipality of Svrljig, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niš, and the Mountaineering Association of Serbia – Sport Climbing Commission
- Sponsors: TKK, Prof. Dr. Daniel Stankovic
Festival Goal: Climbers are invited to submit a rating proposal for each route they have climbed to the sector judge. These proposals will contribute to the final grade of the route. There will be at least 50 unclimbed routes, offering climbers a chance for first ascents. First ascents should be reported to the judge and will be recorded in the climbing area database.
Registration Fee: Free of charge or voluntary donations for the development of the climbing area upon registration and material collection.
Prize Fund: Socializing with climbers and enjoying new routes.
Accommodation for All Participants:
- A tent camp is provided near the climbing area
- Accommodation in the camp is free
- Options for accommodation in village houses or inns in Svrljig are available but should be booked in advance
- The municipality of Svrljig will provide a free lunch for all climbers on both days of the festival
- Toilet facilities are provided in the camp
- The camp will be open from August 9th to 12th, 2024
- Climbers can stay in the camp for free after the competition to continue climbing
